Description: A civil infrastructure improvements project that included the installation of structures for the purpose of transferring water from the Colorado River to Topock Marsh. Multiple measuring devices or ‘gates’ were also installed to calculate the flow and quantity of water into the marsh. Additional work included the conditioning of the existing soil, which is sandy by nature, digging out and shaping the earth then lining it with 2.5 inches of high strength concrete.
